※若不確定顯示晶片型號或使用筆記型電腦，NVIDIA 與 AMD 皆有自動偵測硬體下載驅動程式功能可供選擇：
- NVIDIA
- 自動尋找合適的驅動程式，須安裝 ActiveX（Internet Explorer 瀏覽器）或 Java（Mozilla Firefox、Google Chrome、Opera 等瀏覽器）。
- 利用 GeForce Experience 自動偵測下載驅動程式。
- AMD
- 下載 AMD Driver Autodetect 程式（前身為 AMD Driver Downloader）偵測最新的驅動（可下載筆電顯卡驅動）。
- 使用 AMD Gaming Evolved 自動偵測下載對應的驅動程式。
